About the Speaker:

Dibyendu is a Mechanical Engineer from Jadavpur University, Kolkata & currently working with Worley India Limited Mumbai as Senior General Manager-Projects. He completed his MBA from European School of Management & Technology (ESMT), Berlin, Germany.

He has close to 30 years of experience in Project Management in Refinery, Chemical & Fertilizer domain. Prior to this job, he has worked with thyssenKrupp Industrial Solutions limited India (formerly Uhde India Private Limited) for 15 years and Larsen & Toubro limited for 13 years in similar field.

Dibyendu is closely involved in Alumni activities for local chapters of both the institutes he passed from. He organized large seminars / technical sessions on behalf of his Alumni association dealing variety of topics. His areas of interests include strategy and talent management.

2011 Wrote conference article for PMI India annual conference. Article title: The lattice organization structure: learning from the expectations of Generation-Y talents in Engineering & Construction industry. Available at:

2015 Lectured in NATCOM-2015 at Vadodara. NATCOM is the flagship annual conference of Indian Institute of Materials Management (IIMM). Lecture topic was “Supply Chain Challenge in Project Management”.

2019 Lectured in PMP-Club Vadodara on “Collaborative Approach in Project Execution & Expediting”.

2020 Provided online training (Four half-day modules) to Students and Faculties of various colleges on “Project Management” set up by Pan IIT Alumni Association (PAL) – Chennai Chapter.
