About the speaker:  Yemisi Iyilade is Portfolio Manager Governance for Technology in the Board of PMI Lakeshore Ontario Chapter. She is certified in both Project Management and Maxwell Leadership. She firmly believes that any one can develop the ability to be excellent at project delivery if they have the right tools and information. She is currently working with Women in Resource Development Corporation (WRDC), leading and managing the delivery of a national, multi-province project that provides pre-employment and training supports to multi-barriered women. Presentation Overview: 

Most people think that project management is all about getting things done and ensuring that the deliverables are on time and on budget. While this is certainly an important part of the job, it’s not the only thing. To be a successful project leader, you need to grow and develop yourself in order to lead your team to success.

As you strive for growth and success, it is essential to be mindful of your actions and surroundings. This will allow you to make more meaningful contributions either as a leader or part of a team while developing an ever-increasing awareness of the world around you.
